Two types of AI Coding Assistants

Builders in this category rely on tools like v0, Replit, Bolt and screenshot-to-code AI to launch ideas fast in just few prompting itierations.

The process usually looks like this:

• Start with a long prompt with an example screenshot

• Use tools like v0 to generate the first version of the code

• Build a functional prototype in hours, not weeks

Many use AI coding assistants to only generate code, which is a BIG mistake.
